MEET JOE BLACK是一部很久的片子
第六感生死緣
最近HBO一直在重播
讓我感動的不是死神跟女主角間的愛情
而是爸爸跟兩位女兒之間的感情
可能是自己出身在單親家庭
對於這種親情之間的牽絆
最容易讓我為之潰湜
片子裡有兩段讓我非常感動

第一段
如果有看過電影就知道
安東尼霍普金斯在演這段的時候
振振有辭，想要守護女兒保護她的心意表露無遺
我要是有這種父親我這輩子也就足夠了
以下是片中的台詞~
I loved Susan from the moment she was born,
and I love her now and every minute in between.

And what I dream of is a man who will discover
her, and that she will discover a man...

who will love her, who is worthy of
her, who is of this world, this time...

and has the grace, compassion
and fortitude to walk beside her...

第二段
是大女兒Allison對爸爸的愛
雖然父親經常漠視她
也比較偏心小女兒
對我覺得Allison對父親的愛卻很偉大
她其實不在乎這些
她只知道她很愛她的父親
如此而己
我很喜歡這一段
尤其是最後一句
After all, you've been
a wonderful father.

Yeah, well,

I haven't been the father
to you that, uh...

- That you've been to Susan?

- I wasn't going to say that.

But that's what you were thinking.
And that's okay.

Because I know
that you love me.

I mean, it's not like
it is with her.

Whenever she walks into the room,
your eyes light up.

She always gets a smile from you,
as opposed to me.

When I walk in,

this look comes over your face, like,
"What does she want now?"

But you've never let
either of us want for anything.

Oh, God. More than that, Daddy,
more than that.

I've felt loved,
and that's all that matters.

So, never mind favorites.

You're allowed to have one.

The point is,
you've been mine.
